Set up in 1949 by Late Mr Vinod Kothari at Bombay (then) it has distinguished itself over the decades becoming a one-stop-shop offering an extensive range of travel solutions. Its visionary founder, Mr Kothari, was a highly renowned and respected professional in the travel arena. He had helped steer the travel industry ahead twice as President of the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI.) He played an active role on the board of directors of the Hotels Corporation of India and Odisha Tourism Development Corporation.

 

AERO received IATA accreditation in 1950 and has with its prompt and reliable service become the preferred choice of top corporate houses of India. In 1992, AERO became a part of the Kotak and Amarchand Mangaldas Groups and now has continued its growth from strength to strength.

 

Since its inception, AERO has come a long way evolving and embracing the changes that the travel industry has gone through these years. From the reduction of the agents' remuneration being paid to the travel agent and several airlines as also agencies shutting and new agencies walking into the industry, we have seen and sustained a lot of operational and financial crises over the years. However, we have managed to sail through the turbulent times. We have stood industry best because of our highly professional and personalized standards of services to our customers, our undying commitment to quality of service and open-mindedness to change.
